Ag Apolloni është shkrimtar, studiues dhe profesor në Universitetin e Prishtinës. Ka drejtuar revistën letrare Jeta e Re (2010-2012), revistën për studime kulturore Symbol (nga 2013), shtëpitë botuese Om (2012-2018) dhe Bard Books (nga 2019). Ka kryer studimet për Dramaturgji dhe për Letërsi shqipe, ku edhe ka doktoruar. Përveç teksteve teatrore dhe studimore si dhe librit autobiografik Mesjeta ime, Apolloni ka shkruar edhe libra poetikë e romane. Veprat e tij janë shpërblyer me disa çmime dhe janë përkthyer në disa gjuhë.
