Arthur Rimbaud
“The poet, therefore, is truly the thief of fire.
He is responsible for humanity, for animals even; he will have to make sure his visions can be smelled, fondled, listened to; if what he brings back from beyond has form, he gives it form; if it has none, he gives it none. A language must be found…of the soul, for the soul and will include everything: perfumes, sounds colors, thought grappling with thought”

Seattle Writers, no doubt. If I recall well you would have come to Panama Hotel lounge if you had been available for ad hoc writing/ chat? Plus we follow each other on Twitter, I'm the Dutchess Abroad, rings a bell?

Julene Welcome to Goodreads! I don't come here too much, but when I want to check out a book it is a great resource. And I like the ability to track what I read and make some notes. I can also use it to track my to read books, then when I'm heading to a book store it's easy to look up and remember what I want to search for.

Enjoy. I know I know you from somewhere. Wompo? Facebook? Seattle writer?

Anna, So sweet of you to come over the moment I entered this room. For me the problem with GoodReads will be the time getting the hang of using it I'm afraid.
Did you get any books for Christmas? Or gift certificates?
