“I don’t have an answer,”says Emily. “They made me feel like I belonged, like my existence truly mattered. They made me feel loved. And for most of us, that’s enough.”

“Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.” –VOLTAIRE”
Jennifer Moffett, Those Who Prey

“And now everyone looks at me like I’m a stupid girl who fell for some obvious trick, when no one understands a damn thing. I never joined a cult. Those people were my friends. My only friends. And the sad thing is I still care about some of them.”
Jennifer Moffett, Those Who Prey

“I’m staring at the black of the road in front of me and thinking about why a girl might cry after she has sex. I think it doesn’t have to do so much with love. I think it has a lot to do with regret.”
Hayley Krischer, Something Happened to Ali Greenleaf
