Matthew Campbell D’Arcy Etheridge is a writer, journalist and TV producer.
‘Whitebeard’ is his first book.
Born in Dover, Matt spent his early years in St Margaret’s at Cliffe and grew up in the Kentish village of Offham.
Matt attended Offham County Primary School, Wrotham School and Oakwood Park Grammar School in Maidstone before going on to study History and Politics at Exeter University.
On graduating Matt entered into journalism, working for Sky Sports News, Sky News, Channel 5 News and 9 News in Australia.
A seasoned journalist, Matt specialises as a field producer and has worked on the road covering everything from U.S. Elections and the Oscars in the United States, to terrorist attacks and Royal weddings Europe.
