It’s time to retire that phrase. Why? Because if the Bible is God’s special revelation for everyone, everywhere, all the time, then it isn’t something we integrate into whatever else we’re doing. It’s something we immerse ourselves in; any other truth rises out of it. God’s Word isn’t a partial truth that dovetails with other, “not-from-God” truths. God’s Word is true truth.
