Joyce Bishop Morris has had a lifelong love affair with books, having read most of the classics by her early teens. Born in Millsap Texas, into the fifth generation of her family in Parker County, her family moved to the Sacramento Valley in California when Joyce was only two. There, she grew up on a ranch with her 5 siblings.

As director of a regional christian theatre group, The North Mentor Centenary Players, she scripted skits, plays, and two musicals. Now retired, she can explore her dream of writing. She began her professional writing career ghostwriting for other authors. Now it's her turn.
