Richard was born and raised in the English countryside, just outside of Cambridge, famous for its university he never went to. Instead, he went to Norwich, became an accountant until he realised that was really boring and set out to do something else instead. So he decided to move to South Africa and start writing books. After a dream in 2016 where a group of people were stuck in a railway carriage, the concept for Puzzle Train was born. Richard started writing and has never looked back.

In 2020, he formed Beyond The Vale Publishing with the goal to help authors realise their dreams of having their books published. Richard loves writing books for youngsters as an excuse to write about the crazy things that come into his head on a too regular ...more
