Cole is an Englishwoman who lives in Scotland, and loves both countries. She trained and worked as a counsellor and counselling supervisor for several years before becoming ill with ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) and had to quit her jobs to manage her health. She used this life change as an opportunity to start (very slowly) writing books, something she has always wanted to do, and published her first fantasy novel in 2018. She continues to write her fantasy series 'Tree of Keys', and has begun writing a fictional romance series featuring couples using relationship therapy.
