Lars Svisdal (f. 1985) er oppvaksen i Sunndal på Nordmøre.

Han er utdanna innan litteraturvitskap, engelsk og nordisk språk og litteratur, og har tidlegare vore med på å gi ut tidsskriftet Ir. Han bur no på Leikanger i Sogn og jobbar som lærar. Seg til inkjes er den første romanen hans.
