Astrid Boonstoppel (1983) schrijft al verhalen zolang als zij zich kan herinneren. Ze groeide op in Reeuwijk, als oudste van drie zusjes.

Astrid studeerde Algemene Cultuurwetenschappen en Media en Journalistiek aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam. (En rechten. Even.)

Na haar afstuderen schreef ze jarenlang persberichten, opinieartikelen, nieuwsberichten en speeches voor politici. Nu werkt zij als communicatieadviseur.
