Bryan Bankston is a lifelong science fiction geek and conspiracy theory buff. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Having served eight years in the U.S. Air Force, Bryan is a decorated Gulf War Veteran. After the service, he attended East Carolina University where he earned a degree in fine art photography. He went on to do graduate work in fine art at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.

In addition to writing, Bryan enjoys photography, researching conspiracy theories, dressing up like a pirate at the Texas Renaissance Festival, listening to 80's new wave music, and watching and reading science fiction.

This is an actual rocket that Elon Musk is shooing into space. I can't believe it took us 60 years to finally get 1950's sci-fi aesthetics. I kinda want to watch Flash Gordon now.
