I listened to the audiobook. Great urban fantasy! Basically a hardboiled noir detective story, only the protagonist is a hard-drinking mage with magical fire hands. Plenty of twists and turns. Worth a read. |

I listened to the audiobook. This is a very good book. That said, I think it’s the weakest of the series. The whole Voldemort plot gets put on a back burner for exposition about Harry’s parents’ generation. Jim Dale’s narration is great. |
