Award-winning writer Violet Isley was born in Budapest in 1950. When she and her family escaped the Hungarian revolution in 1956, they began a long series of travels through Europe and around the world.

Always writing, Violet is a wife, mother and grandmother who's had an extensive list of occupations. Her favourite one is author.
