“Give me all of you!!! I don’t want so much of your time, so much of your talents and money, and so much of your work. I want YOU!!! ALL OF YOU!! I have not come to torment or frustrate the natural man or woman, but to KILL IT! No half measures will do. I don’t want to only prune a branch here and a branch there; rather I want the whole tree out! Hand it over to me, the whole outfit, all of your desires, all of your wants and wishes and dreams. Turn them ALL over to me, give yourself to me and I will make of you a new self---in my image. Give me yourself and in exchange I will give you Myself. My will, shall become your will. My heart, shall become your heart.”

oh also, elie wiesel. hands down my favorite author! night is my favorite book (one of them), and the rest of the trilogy isn't as good or as impactful, i think it goes downhill from night, but his writing style will never cease to amaze me.. i suggest 'a mad desire to dance' by him, it's another good one, really makes you think.
hello hello! :) i noticed you posted a goodreads link to facebook .. so i found you hehe :) but yes! i do like donald miller.. searching for god knows what is my favorite book by his.. currently about to start through painted deserts.. the brothers karamazov is one of my favorites, let me know what you think. i'm glad you liked anna karenina :) and i totally recommend dorian grey - beware, you won't want to put it down!

Hey! =D Thanks! Cool! I would have to agree--"Searching" is his best thus far...I am actually re-reading "Blue Like Jazz" at the moment, and hope to start "Through Painted Deserts" pronto. =)Oh, really? ^_^ So far, I am REALLY liking "The Brothers Karamazov"--have you read any other ones by Dostoyevsky? And, I will definitely let you know what I think of it. =) YES! "Anna Karenina" is AMAZING! Tolstoy was brilliant! Levin is awesome thus far, and I hope that he will continue to live up to the high opinion that I currently have of him. ;) =) Ahh, yes! I am so excited to read Dorian Grey also! :D Btw, have you seen the movie "The Last Station" by any chance? Thought that I'd tell you about it--I think you'd like it. =) It's about Tolstoy, and is incredible! =) "Night" was...wow. Unbelievable... I REALLY liked his Noble Prize Acceptance speech that's at the end of the book. I shall have to find "A Mad Desire to Dance." Thank you! =)
