M.T. Bennett has been writing stories and poetry for years, Bennett was born a desert boy in Arizona and has deliberately tried to live a life of adventure and experiences. At the age of 11 he lived in Santiago, Chile while his family served a church service mission. At age 19 Bennett served a two-year mission to Romania. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Psychology where he did research in non-human primates.

Bennett has worked as a grocery store clerk, a teacher at the Provo Missionary Training Center, a Psychiatric Technician, an eighth grade English teacher in China, a Forensic Scientist, a blacksmith, and a skateboarder.
