Colin Tyler



Colin Tyler is Professor of Social and Political Thought and joint director of the Centre for Idealism and the New Liberalism at the University of Hull. He has written widely on 19th century political thought, as well as editing various scholarly editions, including a two volume collection of previously unpublished manuscripts by the British idealists. His study of the liberal socialism of T.H. Green was published in two volumes in 2010 and 2012. He is a fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
