Roger Tavares, nickname for Rogério Junior Correia Tavares, is a Brazilian scientist researching videogames, specially in the media, body and cognitive subjects.
Roger is the founder of Gamecultura, a community for researchers and professionals in these areas, plus game design, and is chair and reviewer for international scientific events in these subjects. In the business topics, he is advisor at IGDA Chapter São Paulo, corporative member of ABRAGAMES (Brazilian Association for Video Games Professionals), and have some artistic works in game arts.
