Penny S. Weibly is a lifelong educator who earned her masters and doctorate in English literature from the University of Texas at Austin. She has taught English at the university level, directed a non-profit designed to assist students who have dropped out of school, and been a freelance writer for multi-media companies. Currently, she teaches English literature and creative writing at a private Catholic high school. She loves to read, travel, exercise, and spend time with her friends. Her students inspire her daily. She resides in Austin, Texas, with her beloved dogs Zoe and Riley.
