Katherine Johnson grew up in a small town in Minnesota before relocating to Central Florida in the early 1970’s. This is her first novel, which is a fictionalized account of a real life event that set a her father, a small town lawyer, against one of the largest and most powerful corporations in the United States. Dr. Johnson works as an energy efficiency consultant based in suburban Washington D.C. specializing in program strategy and evaluation.
