Dawn Fable is a writer, editor, and teacher. Her poetry and short stories have appeared in Mythic Indy: New Legends, Fairytales, and Myths About Indianapolis, Fountains Square Arts Council Masterpiece in a Day, The Tipton Poetry Journal, The Midwest Quarterly, Straight Forward Poetry, Punchnel's and Poetry in Free Motion. Her poetry has an unmistakably feminine and feminist point of view and deals with issues of violence, loss, love, sexuality - and, occasionally, shoes.

Fable earned her bachelor of arts degree from Purdue University in communication with a minor in English. She later earned her teaching credential in secondary English education from Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis. Before she moved to the classroom, she ...more
