Somdip Dey (born December 13, 1990 in Kolkata, India) is an Indian Artificial Intelligence scientist working on embedded systems. Somdip is also a technology journalist and a serial entrepreneur with a knack in social-entrepreneurship, and serves as the technical committee member of several top computing conferences such as IEEE EdgeCom, IEEE CSCloud, IEEE CSE, CVPR, ICCV. Somdip has previously served as an Editor of ACM XRDS (Crossroads) magazine and currently serves as an Editor of Frontiers in Blockchain: Fourth Industrial Revolution journal. He has also published several peer-reviewed research papers and patents in the field of computer science.
