Suzannah Rowntree
Suzannah Rowntree is on page 9 of 380 of The Blood Miles: Loving the postapocalyptic vibes, the lean prose and the Australiannsss of the setting - it's very much Bunyan by way of DIRTY ROAD. But I'm having the trouble I have with a lot of allegory, which is that the literal/surface level of the story is being subordinated to the allegory. That said, some of the allegorical touches are GREAT.
