Born in the Philippines, Kenneth Rocher Villa is afflicted with a rare disease called Morquio-Brailsford Syndrome. He was bed-ridden and hooked to a life- support machine since he was 4 years old, and he spent most of his years reading books, especially fantasy series like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

He never had any formal schooling aside from taking one year in a home school, and was accelerated to Grade 6 at the age of 9. But despite this, he decided to pursue the career he discovered he has talents: writing. Aside from being an author and avid reader of novels, his hobbies also include watching his favorite anime series, painting and drawing, playing the piano, and being a not-so-pro gamer(debatable).
