Melissa Barrett is the author of Moon on Roam (Gold Wake Press, 2019). Her poems and essays have been published in BOMB, Crazyhorse, Harvard Review, jubilat, and Best American Poetry. A Pushcart Prize nominee, her writing has been recognized by the Ohio Arts Council, the Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prizes, Tin House's Summer Workshop, Gulf Coast, and The Iowa Review. The definition of a page-turner. The first 150 pages are so, so good. The writing quality is exquisite. How have I never read Koontz before?!

A quick read. Interesting plot, but there were some holes. Writing was accessible. Gratuitous sex scenes. Felt very unbelievable.

Gorgeously written. So adventurous. Some stories land harder than others. The first two make me very jealous. Wish I could read them again for the first time.
