Melissa Barrett is the author of Moon on Roam (Gold Wake Press, 2019). Her poems and essays have been published in BOMB, Crazyhorse, Harvard Review, jubilat, and Best American Poetry. A Pushcart Prize nominee, her writing has been recognized by the Ohio Arts Council, the Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Prizes, Tin House's Summer Workshop, Gulf Coast, and The Iowa Review.
