William Russell

William Russell was born in 1949. His poetry and writing have appeared on education curricula in many countries and at all levels, from primary through to university. He is blind, with significant hearing loss and other scars from service in the armed forces. His vast breadth of life experience and wide travel, in addition to his military service, his disabilities and his deep cultural roots, give his poetry and short stories a broad palette that defies pigeonholing.
