Coffy Davis resides in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has an English Degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In 2004 she became a trailblazer and created the Underground Railroad Neighborhood project (TURN project) an initiative that bridged art and literacy with at-risk communities. She is a Spoken Word artist that competed and won in various local and national slams as a solo artist as well as a founding member of the local troupe, Foreign Tongues. She was the Assistant Editor for the Localist magazine which fused Hip Hop and Punk Rock music and was subsequently sought after to instruct a Hip Hop after school program that used the genre as a vessel to teach life skills-- a program that was featured on CNN’s Black in America.
