D. C. Reigns is a small-town girl from Ohio. She attended college earning a Master's degree in Business Administration and promptly threw it out to focus on her true calling in life, substitute teaching. She started writing while waiting for the littles to come back from specials, recess, and lunch. She is a wife and mother to two wonderful girls and "Mom" to 75 students.

Her debut short story, Retribution Blues, is a crime fiction mystery and first book in the Nash and Blue series. She also has projects coming with a sprinkle of humor, romance, and a touch of scare your pants off.
