Richard Flowers is a fan of ghost stories, mysteries, and the paranormal. Edgar Allan Poe, M. R. James, H. P. Lovecraft, Ambrose Bierce, Algernon Blackwood, and Nathaniel Hawthorne are some of his favorite classic authors. He also enjoys the books of Barbara Michaels.

Richard was born visually impaired in 1957 and discovered his interest in writing during his high school years at the Georgia Academy for the Blind in Macon, Ga. In spite of his visual impairment--or perhaps because of it--Richard has always posessed a strong sense for detail and description that reflects a more classic style of prose.
