Gaslamp Fantasy Author Adam Hayes was born in Duncan, British Columbia, about an hour north of Victoria. He has always been a massive fan of high and gaslamp fantasy books. Ever since childhood, Adam has loved reading and writing young adult fantasy books. His favorites are the fantasy classics: Lord of the Rings, Narnia, The Hobbit, and of course, Harry Potter, which he maintains are the best fantasy books of all time.

Adam is a cancer survivor and came up with the idea for The Blue Haired Girl while in the hospital receiving chemotherapy for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The Dissident

This morning I was watching a youtube video I saw something very interesting. As I am not one of their subscribers I have to watch videos with ads. Now for the most part those of us that have to sit through them just tend to stare at the countdown button until we can skip it.

But for once I didn't, I saw something that I was really interested in. It was an advertisement for an upcoming documentary
