Marilyn Fischer

Dr. Fischer specializes in political philosophy and American pragmatism. She served as director of the Core Program, an integrated, interdisciplinary program through which students can fulfill most of their general education requirements. She is affiliated with the Society for Advancement of American Philosophy, the North American Society for Social Philosophy, and the Society for Women in Philosophy. Her research focuses on the philosophy of Jane Addams.
