Alexia Damyl est une trentenaire toulousaine. Passionnée de lecture et d’écriture depuis toujours, elle publie quelques articles polémiques dans le journal du lycée avant de laisser son hobby de côté pour se consacrer à ses études de biologie. En 2011, employée dans un laboratoire depuis deux ans, elle passe le concours de recrutement de professeur des écoles et devient enseignante. Une soirée passée au coin du feu auprès de sa grand-mère lui donne l’envie de raconter l’histoire de ses grands-parents. Mêlant l’authentique et l’imaginaire, elle construit peu à peu la trame d’un récit hommage à ceux qui constituent ses racines. Connaître d’où l’on vient pour savoir où l’on va…
