Matt Ortile is the author of The Groom Will Keep His Name, an essay collection about sex, power, and the model minority myth. He's also a MacDowell Colony Fellow and the managing editor of Catapult magazine. Previously, he was the global publishing lead for BuzzFeed International and the founding editor of BuzzFeed Philippines. He's written for BuzzFeed Reader, Into, Self, Out, and Details, among others.
