I am former directed in the UK civil service. I have worked on projects including the Olympic and Paralympic touch for London 2012 and was programme director for the Building Safety Programme following the Grenfell fire tragedy. I became interested in applying mindfulness to the work place after seeing its transformative effect on my own ability to manage stress. As I introduced mindfulness to the teams I lead, it became apparent that there was no guide book for introducing mindfulness at an organisational level. This prompted me to write Organisational mindfulness - a how to guide to provide advice and encouragement to people trying to reduce stress for, and improve the effectiveness of their teams.
