Andrew M. Lindner is Associate Professor of Sociology and the author of All Media Are Social: Sociological Perspectives on Mass Media with Stephen Barnard. Lindner received a B.A. from Skidmore College and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University. His primary research interest is on the intersection of politics and mass culture, including sport and journalism. His work on these topics appear in such publications as Social Problems, Poetics, New Media & Society, The Sociological Quarterly, Sociological Inquiry, Contexts, and Information, Communication, & Society.
