The subtitle says it all: Goblins. Guts. Glory. Starts slowly. It takes a while to get into the narrative flow. But once you get the cadence it becomes a page turner.

Really well written. Effortless. It reminds me a lot of H. P. Lovecraft. A combination of creeping discovery, horror, wonder and psychological thriller. As book one of a trilogy, it sets the stage for wanting more.
