Jacqui Alder started writing because she was tired of self-help books telling women how to fix themselves. Her first two books, Being You and Clarity Simplicity Success, use words and illustrations to help women hear themselves and discover the answers within. Currently, she’s writing a book of poetry and a novel content in the knowledge that writing is like life, nobody knows where it may lead or when it will finish.

After pulling herself back from the brink of self-destruction Jacqui stopped chasing success, quit the corporate world, and started living life instead. Aided by her daily dosage of dark chocolate she now spends her time writing, drawing, and enjoying precious moments with her life partner of over 30 years.
