Writer, mother, perpetual coffee drinker.

I write coming-of-age novels and listen to music that makes me feel sixteen again.

I was born and raised in Missouri, graduating with honors from the University of Missouri with a degree in English. When I’m not writing and reading, I also consider myself a road trip addict, an amateur home improver and a sort of runner.

I live in Los Angeles with my husband, Ryan, and my kids, Knox, Quinn and Rooney.
