Chris Kelly worked as a butcher, a bouncer, and a journalist before resolving himself to the bloody business of fiction. He lives in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains with his wife and a perspicacious rabbit. He is the author of 'Red Shutters Shut,' published in the Minnesota Review in Apr 2021, innumerable poems, stories, and the novel, A Kid Called Chatter, released on April 15, 2022, and On Quiet Earth (2020).

A Kid Called Chatter is his second novel. In 2017 he achieved his masters in Creative Writing at the University of Calgary. He was previously awarded the Kaleidoscope award for best undergraduate writing in 2014 and in 2015. ...more
