Timothy Walsh lives in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Stonehill College as well as a Master of Arts degree in Ancient History from the University of South Florida.

Tim did not learn to love reading until his older brother lent him his first Fantasy book: Redwall by Brian Jacques. From that moment, he was "doomed" with the fate of obsessively devouring fantasy books. Over the years he has enjoyed classics such as The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and His Dark Materials while also delving into more modern favorites such as Harry Potter, The Inheritance Cycle, A Song of Ice and Fire, Lightbringer, and The Stormlight Archive. Tim's new career as a Fantasy author began 17 years ago when he received inspiration on a Boy Scout camping trip to write a Fantasy book. Since then, he has written and refined his Fantasy world resulting in his first book in The Legend of the Crystals series, Crystal Journey.
