Musthafa Azeez was born in Qatar in 1992 to South Indian (Malayali) parents and raised on a steady diet of pop-culture. Through T.V. shows and books he developed a love for storytelling, and his ambition as a writer was born when his friends were convinced he’d narrated the “leaked” version of the 5th Harry Potter novel months before it was released.

Since then he’s written over 30 short stories, 5 of which were published in Young Times magazine, and two that almost resulted in his first publishing contract. Having transitioned from short stories to journalism in recent years, he still works on novels that combine Crime, Thriller and Science-Fiction genres. His first novel, ‘The Man Who Lost His Shadow’ was published on Amazon in June 2020.
