K Rochester Hi! Just wanted to say that I just read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society tonight; I thought it a very charming, but also a very heart-warming, touching book. Thanks for your recommendation!!
Loved the Janian/Brontë references:
Not silent in a romantic, brooding way, like Mr. Rochester... *squeee*
I actually did squee ;)
Though the description of Pride and Prejudice as the most romantic book ever I could have done without.... ^_^
