Jo Fletcher is an award-winning poet, writer, critic, journalist and currently editorial director of Victor Gollancz, one of Britain's largest genre fiction publishers, responsible for, amongst other things, the Fantasy Masterworks list.

Winner of the International Society of Poets' Critics' Choice Award, the British Fantasy Society's first ever Karl Edward Wagner Award and the World Fantasy Award, her poetry, fiction and non-fiction has appeared widely. She has edited several anthologies, both alone and with multi-award-winner Stephen Jones; her first poetry collection, SHADOWS OF LIGHT AND DARK, was shortlisted for the British Fantasy Award.
