Julia Tanner is a high school graduate, writer, and author of the new novella 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘴. Born and raised in Sweden, Julia had spent many years reading fantasy novels and imagining about becoming a fantasy author herself!

After graduating from high school, she started writing in November 2019 and finally realized her dream in May 2020 when her debut novella 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦 was released on Amazon. Both of her novellas are now available on Amazon.

Julia enjoys composing short stories, and sci-fi/fantasy novellas. She claims her writing muse is a dragon who rampages in her mind until she sits down and starts creating. Something I love about the Station Eleven TV adaptation is that Jeevan isn't alone at the end of the world. There's a line late in the show, I believe in episode 10, when Jeevan says something like "having one other person, just one other person, can make all the difference," or words to that effect. I've been thinking about that a lot ever since I watched the show.

After that, we want to be remembered. I think dissatisfaction is probably embedded in human nature, which is why it’s so rare and wonderful to encounter someone who has “enough,” i.e., someone who truly doesn’t seem to long for more than they already have.
