J. E. Friend is an emerging author of crime thrillers. She lives in the beautiful Annapolis Valley with her husband and their dog, Hartley. There she is able to enjoy the peace and solitude it offers so that she can write, whether in her writing room or on the deck. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Waterloo, where her field of study was psychology, this enables her to get into the mind of a killer when writing.
She is a member of Author’s Ink, a writing group in Nova Scotia, consisting of published and non published authors, and for the past few years she has also been The Municipal Liaison for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for her geographical area.
