Hamiruddin Middya, born on January 14, 1997, in Bankura, West Bengal is Bengali fiction writer known for his deep insights into human emotions and rural life. An agriculturist by profession, Hamiruddin began writing in 2016 and has since published two acclaimed short story collections, Azrailer Daak and Mathrakha. His storytelling vividly captures the rich diversity of rural Bengal, particularly the 'Rath' region, and touches on themes of communal harmony and transformation. His use of the local dialect, 'Rarh Banga,' adds an authentic flavor to his work. His short story Kabar was adapted into a short film.
