She interprets the world in her stories, drawing on her experience as a hotel and restaurant receptionist, confronting the absurdity of life and the improbable reality that often surpasses fiction.
A big fan of popular culture, science fiction and fantasy literature, mainstream cinema, and video games, Maud Parent has never strayed from writing, but her professional career took a more unusual turn with a career change into the wine industry.
