As much as I would love to call 'Eliva' home, I spend most of my time in Alberta, Canada. When I was a kid I read as many fantasy books as I could, but after failing to find my "perfect" book (many came close!) I decided to write it for myself.

When not reading or writing, I love going for walks with my family, going for a run, or spending time in the Rocky Mountains. I travel when I can and especially love visiting my "second home" in Australia, where I lived for 5 wonderful years. Recently I've spent more time exploring my own backyard.
