George Conklin was born in the Bronx but has spent most of his life in New Jersey, where he currently lives with his wife. They have two daughters and enjoy spending as much time with them as possible, especially in Cape May which they visit frequently.

Last Exit For Betrayal: A Cape May Mystery is George's first novel. Previously, he has written several books and articles about the American Civil War, including a complete history of the 134th New York Infantry Regiment.
