Haven Scott McVarish is a political strategist. This is his second book on building political movements. McVarish started his career as a community organizer, then worked as a union leader, including running a dozen political campaigns for the California Teachers Association and affiliates. He later worked as a small business owner, founding one of Los Angeles’ most successful immigration law firms, the Immigration Law Office of Los Angeles. More recently, McVarish hosted the podcast “Your Daily Trump” and currently runs the nonprofit Common Sense Democracy (CommonSenseDem.org).
