Holger Nehring studied at Tübingen University (Germany), the London School of Economics and at Oxford (as a Rhodes scholar). Before joining the Sheffield History Department in 2006, he taught at University and Pembroke Colleges and held a junior research fellowship at St. Peter's College, Oxford. His main research interests lie in the social, political and cultural history of post-World War II Western Europe, with a special emphasis on the social history of the Cold War in Britain and Germany since 1945, and in historical peace research. ...more
